In the latest newsletter some of the children share their news; Martin is briefly in the
Philippines again and provides an update along with photos of the nearly completed building.
Hamilton Elim has a sausage sizzle fund raiser and we welcome new supporters "Addy El Bridge" from San Diego.
We really appreciate all the support that you have provided in so many ways. We couldn't do this without you!
"This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also
overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves,
men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your
generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Cor. 9:12-13.

Praise the Lord that thanks to a very generous donor Amy Lamb was
able to fly to the Philippines to attend Gilda and Dexter's wedding. It all happened
very quickly and despite the threat of dust storms in Sydney and flooding in Manila, Amy made it safely
there and back. Congratulations Gilda and Dexter! Read more about the wedding here:

and intend to plant more as more of the land is prepared for planting. See the latest newsletter for more

Follow Kasih's Story
Help bring Kasih to Adelaide for surgery.
Kasih URGENTLY needs our help ... (Kasih translates in English to "Love")... is a beautiful little
girl with a severe cleft palate deformity ... She should be smiling and playing and loved by all!...
Instead, Kasih faces a life with serious health risks - its likely she may not live 'til school age.
Kasih should be running and playing, learning to talk and smile - instead, her deformity leaves
her without hope of a normal childhood, facing a shortened lifespan.
Kasih has travelled to a whole new world - Adelaide - where she will be having surgery in
December - will you help her finish the journey with a smile?

The kids at the children's home have been praying for Kasih and they're mentioned on her website.

The builders have been making great progress on the new extension. Thanks for
all your generous support in enabling the extension to go ahead.
Here are updated photos of some of the young women from the children's home and a couple
of the guys who are into music.
The kids always enjoy it when new parcels arrive at the home. There's often
medical needs too so it's great to be able to stock up on medicines.
March 2008
Martin has just returned from three weeks in the Philippines catching up with the staff and children. Martin was concerned
that Pastor Dexter was ill. Praise the Lord that the problem has been identified (a thyroid condition) and can be treated with medication.
Many thanks to Christchurch Elim who have offered to pay for Ps. Dexter's treatment. Here's Ps. Dexter with the new jeepney looking much better
than he did a few weeks ago.
Here's Gilda at the church in Bohol. Martin preached here during his latest visit (above centre). As you can see
the church can get quite wet when it rains!
February 2008
Well it has taken nearly a year to get the roof on the jeepney but it is now finally finished. Here are the
before and after photos. It will be perfect for transporting the children.
